Terms of use
Last updated
In short: this website explains what Weempers MPCS is. It is not an offer of investment or a promise of returns. Registering your interest does not make you a member, and membership is governed by the Society's own rules.
About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website, run by Weempers Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society ("Weempers MPCS", "we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Information, not an offer
Everything on this website is general information about the Society and its aims. Nothing here is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, an offer of shares or securities, an invitation to deposit money, or a promise or guarantee of any return.
Our vision, mission and objectives describe what the Society intends to do. They are not commitments about any particular outcome for any member.
Registering interest and membership
Submitting the join form tells us you would like to hear about membership. It does not make you a member, create any agreement, or commit you or us to anything.
Membership, contributions, rights, obligations and benefits are governed by the Society's bye-laws and rules and by applicable Nigerian law, not by this website. Admission to membership is decided under those rules.
Using the site properly
When you use the site, you agree not to:
- submit false details or details about another person without their permission;
- send automated or bulk submissions through the join form;
- try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
Our name, logo and content
The Weempers name, logo and the text of this website belong to the Society. You may share links to the site and quote it fairly with credit, but you may not use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse something we do not.
Photographs on the site are used under the Pexels licence and remain the property of their photographers.
Links to other sites
The site may link to other websites, such as our social media pages or app store listings. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
Availability and accuracy
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be either. We may change, suspend or remove any part of it without notice.
Our responsibility to you
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website or from relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that Nigerian law does not allow us to limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any dispute about them will be handled by the courts of Nigeria.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Questions about them can be sent to [contact email: to be confirmed].
